2026 Expo dates: SepT 26 & 27

The Panhandle Preparedness Expo is dedicated
to promoting disaster awareness through education.

Attendees can explore a wide range of vendors,
engaging speakers and hands-on demonstrations,
all focused on emergency preparedness and community resilience.

The 11th annual Panhandle Preparedness Expo welcomes members of the filmmaking team behind the upcoming feature film One Second After for an exclusive sneak preview and behind-the-scenes discussion during the two-day event.

The special appearance will be one of the Expo’s keynote programs, giving attendees an early look at the film while opening a larger conversation about the systems communities rely on every day, what happens when those systems fail and how people can prepare before an emergency occurs.
